Pros

Ethical company that doesn't have to answer to stock holders/Wall Street. Takes a longer view on issues and puts people first. Not many companies like this left. Long service employees have no idea what they have.

Cons

Too many long service employees retired in place.

Pros

First off the work environment at Pacific Life is very professional and friendly. Interns also get paid well. The IT Portal team I work with is very smart and funny. We get to work on the website's portal page for clients. As an Intern you get to learn as you work on some enjoyable projects and also get treated as a regular employee and get to attend team meetings. Also, If you are a full time employee you receive good benefits. Pacific Life is a great place to work for.

Cons

Working full time is hard to balance with regular life. If I wasn't single I don't know how I would have time for the family. However, Pacific Life offers many activities and benefits for families.
