Good not great

Pros

Work life balance and benefits. If you have drive you can really stand out from the pack.

Cons

It's a place to retire at 40. Many of the technology department staff are dead weight and have little to no drive to improve. Management doesn't know any better to realize how bad it is.

Great stable company

Pros

Good people, excellent management, great pay with above-average bonuses. People stay a long time because of the excellent culture, good leaders, company's investment in training its people and excellent pay.

Cons

Slow industry so limited new projects or changes. Since most people stay for a long time, sometimes results in not-so-fresh ideas.
