      Pros

      High degree of independence and trust for employees Extreme flexibility in working environment (times, locations, etc.) Kind, humble, smart teammates Meaningful and impactful work Fast-moving, high growth startup

      Cons

      "Fast-moving" and "high degree of independence" means that you have to take the reins (not a lot of hand-holding). If you ask for help, you'll get it in spades, but don't expect tight, well-organized training or onboarding programs. Things change quickly, so you'll have to be flexible and able to adapt quickly.

      Good team, good mission, work remote.

      Cons

      Limited Resources, Project Management never audits their work before calling something done or ready, Too many unproductive early morning meetings that aren't considerate of west-coast team members, often receive conflicting directives from management. Limited to crappy macbooks with terrible IT support.
