Generally an easy going environment (at least in the departments I've seen). Benefits are good and it is a "steady". And generally, they will reimburse you for educational costs.

Cons

Pay is terrible. Little opportunity for advancement. Incompetence finds its way to management.

there is never a dual moment in early childhood, I love being creative, and allowing children to create, early learning should be fun.. not tortures.. as a early childhood professional we have the ability to make or brake a child.. because without them there is no future..

Cons

even though were not the highest paid profession it still can be rewarding. sometimes is not appreciated, the hard work that goes into being a child care professional..
