Pros

Good benefits. Payed time off. Friendly co-workers.

Cons

Working here was good for the first few months. Then my position changed to a role I was unqualified for and my salary decreased significantly. There wasn't much training for this new position, other than some articles that were given to me to read. The lack of support and training didn't set me up for success. This is the third solar company I've worked for and most likely will be my last.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Our sales team has undergone changes to keep pace with our growing market opportunity in the last year, and as our new Chief Sales Officer, I've implemented a strategy that is aimed at bringing more stability to our sales organization. It’s unfortunate that your experience was impacted the way it was, and if you were still at Palmetto I would have liked to spend time with you to understand where/how we could have made your experience better. As a company, we have evolved over the last few years and we appreciate how hard our team has worked to move along with the changes. My door is always open to anyone who would like to share a challenge and talk through potential solutions.

Pros

Co-workers are great and the building is nice.

Cons

-Long, long....long work weeks with lots of work from home. -Respect for employees' personal lives is non-existent. -Very intense work environment. -The company makes it's employees responsible for purchasing items and requests that you submit for reimbursements. -The culture is flawed because of pressure from management. -Burnout occurs frequently and often here, but it is not recognized by management.

Very old review. Over 2yrs old. Palmetto takes our culture very seriously and have taken steps to improve the quality of life by giving employees more control of their work schedule and implemented unlimited PTO . We have created a "Culture Committee" that has one member from each department to get employee input every month.
