Pros

Good pay good time off good benefits

Cons

The management doesn't care in the slightest about it's employees. My advice is if you do get hired here is do the bare minimum because employees that shine are taken advantage of. lots of false promotion promises. They do not promote their own values

Culture of mediocrity

Pros

A truly global company - lots of opportunity to learn about different work cultures.

Cons

Perfectly positioned to be disrupted. Doesn’t have the technical talent nor the agility to deliver on their marketing spin. Organizational chaos, super political, very little work life balance. Embodies the five dysfunctions of a team.

Pros

- Market leader in both IFE and IFC - Panasonic generally has a good reputation in getting H/W on aircraft - Overall business is profitable (this company is not about to go bankrupt) - The technical services group (PTS) is well-managed

Cons

- Weak senior leadership - Entirely new management team below COO that are new to sector, not in sync, silos forming, competing objectives, roles not clear - Some very talented employees, but lots of deadwood - Engineering driven, but lack of business skills/business leadership - Weak culture - new "Chief Culture Officer" has no qualifications - Weak Finance and HR departments - Stain of FCPA enforcement has resulted in constant compliance training, despite the violations being limited to a select few bad apples, including the former CEO, who are all gone now - Increasingly poor morale due to lack of effective leadership - Pay and perks at low end of scale, benefits are decent - Bonus plan is arbitrary - New management seems to see existing employees as "part of the problem" so little opportunity for advancement
