Pros

Leaders at Paradigm live and breathe the mission of helping as many injured workers as possible. We recently earned the Great Place to Work certification again for 2023, and it truly is a great place to work. The culture is friendly and respectful. Even as a relatively new employee, my opinions have mattered to my team and my leaders.

Cons

Though I love working from home, there are times when I would like to at least meet my team members in person. However, we have regular virtual meetings and can IM anyone at any time with out feeling as though we are imposing.

Pros

Supportive coworkers - people are understanding and encouraging and can be the best resource to help reach professional and project goals Responsive CMEs - content experts and departmentalized teams make a highly structured and compartmentalized company feel like a cohesive unit Room to grow - professional and technical growth is encouraged and resources are made available to continue learning on the job Flexible Schedule - with great power comes great responsibility. Work hours can be easily flexed around personal needs. PTO is approved quickly and managers don't micromanage your time

Cons

Slow growth - often not enough bodies to do all the work, growing the team is taking time both form a hiring perspective but also from a training/onboarding perspective Shifting priorities - trying to meet the needs of an ever-changing healthcare field means shelving work in progress more often than I like and having to rapidly change gears to adapt to new requirements and expectations Large application suites - the software suites are enormous and take a long time to learn and understand Developers are also IT support - having to balance development and support responsibilities can be overwhelming at times.
