Pros

Paradigm offers fantastic work life balance. If you need to recover from a previously toxic work environment, Paradigm is the place. They are the definition of chill.

Cons

The trade off for their relaxed work culture and generally chill managers is that compensation is not quite as good. However, having less PTO does not matter as much if you don’t really feel the need to take it as much. Consider how much you value that trade off before accepting an offer.

Pros

Very flexible company , offers an exceptional work-life balance. Fully remote since pandemic and not pushing to be back to the office. Interesting software product for those who is interested in construction industry/buildings. Nice people to work with. Modern technologies are used, not much legacy code. Offers pension plan match, some home-office credits

Cons

Software product is very specific to the construction industry, It takes time to understand the product, especially if you are not familiar with construction terms. Compensation is low competitive according to the market. Even though the main office in the States, Canadian office salary range is based on Quebec market (and Quebec has the lowest salaries across Canada). Company doesn't offer yearly bonuses or shares.

Pros

Initially seems like a great company to work for, until you become good at your job.

Cons

Would be great if improvement led to a raise/ upward mobility without having to ask. Lack of formal training. Current pay doesn't feel like it reflects workload/long hours.
