Pros

I was trying to think back on my time at Paragon and honestly, nothing really positive came to mind. The facility was nice though, very clean.

Cons

This environment was incredibly toxic. It was either no one cared about their jobs to the point that the entire office absolutely drained your energy OR they cared too much and worked you to the bone. People would gossip behind each other's backs and it was bad gossip to the point HR should have been involved. Managers YELLED and SCREAMED at the top of their lungs and were incredibly argumentative. People walked on eggshells. At first it seemed great, then as time went on, it started to show it's ugly head. The entire experience was unprofessional with people throwing fits and profanity everywhere. Job hunters... please avoid for your own sake!

May work for some people

Pros

My low score was because of my experience. That does not mean others won't have a better time. They were great about catering to your personal life as long as while you were there you worked. If you played the game of being late everyday and leaving early or taking long breaks you should not expect the same treatment as the people that showed up early and/or worked late. The culture of the work place was relaxed but when it was crunch time the stress level could be quite high and, tempers would show. Most of the people I had problems with did not move to Dallas so, that could lead to a better environment with time. The skill set that was the original company is not the same as it is now, and the people that do have the skills and ability to get the work done that are there will with time I believe get back to the abilities they had before.

Cons

Because the management were young and new at their management positions they had a hard time dealing with people at times. The engineering group were young and most of them did not have enough experience to do what they were doing with out a lot of help. Most schools do not teach this type of electronics anymore so that is understandable. The technicians suffered some of the same problems but they ended up relying on just a few people to help pull them through. Which complicated tribal knowledge problems.

Pros

The less you do, the less you are asked to do

Cons

Paragon's lackadaisical approach to its work coupled with its inability to effectively train these technicians will lead more ineffectiveness and errors. Never takes ownership of its lab or its actions and is not held accountable for its demeaning bullying behaviors. The only thing that lacks more than its technical knowledge of I and C is its managerial experience. Cares more about the man bun than the work done!
