Pros

The variety of programming on-air and online exposes employees to fun projects and interesting people. It attracts a high caliber of creative people, which helps to raise everyone's game.

Cons

There are a lot of missed opportunities for cooperation and coordination and efficiency among sister MTV brands/networks. It often results in the brands working against each other. Also small budgets tend to squeeze employees and burn people out.

Pros

Big company, opens doors, resources theoretically available. Everyone knows where you're calling from and will take the time to visit and pitch.

Cons

Stifling environment rife with ethical dilemmas and quandries. It's a place loaded with unrealized potential. The HR people are a nightmare.
