Terrific benefits Pretty solid salary for the entertainment industry The SVP level has some of the legitimately smartest people you will ever meet

Cons

Despite constantly talking flexibility this is super team dependent with high pressure from leadership to do hybrid not remote (even on teams where it makes no sense) SUPER TOP HEAVY - I came in as a director and had no direct reports and did entry level data management and analyses. Really need to stop hiring VPs and directors in favor for analysts

- Great communication and organization among direct team - Major entertainment news company - great place to learn

Cons

- Once CBSi merged with CBS and became Paramount, the quality of the workplace went down. We lost all of our benefits, were switched to an awful health insurance plan, and were worked harder because many people were let go or quit. - They no longer offer Paramount+ to employees, took away 401k matching, took away unlimited PTO and summer Fridays, and have a new very bizarre and very strict WFH policy - upper management lacks communication and often has unreasonable expectations for their staff - No room for upward mobility/ Went 2+ years without getting a bonus or raise. CEO sent a company-wide email telling us we would not get raises to match inflation - Executives and talent foster a toxic work environment
