Pros

The people at PAREXEL are very straight-forward and great co-workers. The company has grown a tremendous amount over the past few years - but infrastructure has not kept pace. This provides an opportunity for people willing to apply themselves to improve operations and get noticed. More than 25% of jobs are filled internally.

Cons

The work pace is fast and the hours can be long - especially if you are in a global position. Senior Management could communicate better with their employees in the business unit.

Pros

Decent benefits & time off time (though not bonuses). Many of the worker bees are pretty good and nice, but all life is sucked out of them and you. Got some pretty good clin research experience.

Cons

Too many to list. Overwork, poor technology & support, bad vibe of management. Overall a horrible place to work,

Pros

flexible hours, lots of vacation\sick hours

Cons

too many to name - favoritism all over the place. The office is white dominant (between 95 to 98%), and the management likes it that way. People are rude and insensitive, and the overall culture is "whoever complains first is right". Management has no people or negotiation skills, and do not realize people have low morale when told to the management's face. Promotion system is completely random and influenced only by favoritism and not competence or how much you work. The harder you work, the more work thrown towards you without any proper recognition what-so-ever. Many people, including myself, have noticed that any improvements you make within the company that either improve workflow or save money for the company are simply marked as "part of your job description" during the yearly reviews, and you are not compensated in any way. Once you realize all the cons of working at Perceptive, you realize it is not worth it to work very hard.
