Pros

Pariveda takes talent development very seriously with their mentor program and regular, in-depth review process

Cons

Very narrow advancement ladder (one track) can be a problem if it doesn't align with your career goals

Pros

The interview process is very involved which results in us hiring very smart, talented, and passionate people. The whole company is created around developing you to your fullest potential and the work we do, our training, revolves around that. It shows the employee that they care about us more than profits and other material things. The benefits package is world-class so we do not have to worry about things outside of work and developing ourselves, again showing the commitment to their employees.

Cons

The career progression is really good but it does not give you the ability to advance faster than the stated career progression. For example if I am a top performing employee in the earlier stages I cannot try to interview for manager without going through the progressions, in an industry job you might be able to promote quicker if you are a top performer.

Thank you for your feedback! We are designed for talent development and retention. It creates enormous value for our clients -- higher quality outcomes for lower total cost. In theory, it is possible for an exceptional talent among very talented people to "skip" level in early career with some organizations once during their employment. Most people need to quit their current employers to "skip" a level, typically followed by a slower progress following their move. These opportunities happen relatively rarely. We are designed to advance talented individuals in a consistently rapid fashion. We have well over a decade long track record to prove it. In an average year, about half our employees are promoted. And the average time at level is just over one year. For individuals seeking promotion, on average it is typically faster and more financially rewarding to stay with our firm and be promoted than quit for a "skip" level move. Over the course of a career the cumulative advantage of staying tends to be overwhelming in favor of our talent development system. And we know we can become even better for out employees and clients.

Pros

Focused on growth of individuals, well-defined and transparent salary and expectations structure for each level of the organization (up to more senior VP, at which point it loses focus).

Cons

Predominantly technical consulting focus (over the last decade), still figuring out how to scale, some blind spots when making leadership choices.
