      Pros

      Culture of growth and learning, with formal mentorship as well as mentoring by manager on projects helps accelerate your promotions. Everyone is also highly collaborative and managers are above average in quality compared to the rest of the industry.

      Cons

      Being consulting, most projects are high pressure and as you become a manager (and up) the pressure only increases. It’s common as a manager to spend 50+ hrs a week working on some engagements along with the added expectation of helping out sales and internal initiatives. Because of the promotion criteria, getting promoted as a more junior consultant is easy, but as a manager, I’ve seen my fair share of consultants who were promoted too quickly, which led to overload for high performers on my team and occasional PIPs. They also do not give bonuses, and raises are only given when you are promoted.

      -could not think of a better place to start your career as a new graduate -supportive environment with genuinely good people and strong relationships with clients -interesting and fulfilling work opportunities and a genuine desire to place people where they will grow -transparency around pay, reviews, and promotion cycles so there's a clear trajectory for growth -mentorship

      Cons

      -while you do not have to fight to get staffed, it may take some time to get put on the type of work you want to pursue -because its a midsize firm, it can't support the same perks as larger firms

      Pros

      I have been continuously surprised how Pariveda emphasizes and invests in growth. Everyone at Pariveda has a mentor who guides and advocates for their career development. I have had several mentors, and they all made my time a priority. As evidence of this, I have been promoted every year since I started 4 years ago! These promotions come with a 10-20% raise, which is one of their key methods for retaining talent. These promotions would not have been possible without the help of my mentors and supportive teammates!

      Cons

      Macro-economic strain on the tech sector and on our clients have led to lay-offs and compensation reduction during my time here. This has hurt many current & former employees, but I continue to trust our leadership.
