Pros

In general, the people that work here are nice. Most of the teams try to make the workplace enjoyable by bringing in lunches. Company is moving in an interesting direction with regards to technology. Company growth despite poor economy/recession.

Cons

Senior management has no faith in middle management or other employees. No one but senior management is trusted to make a decision. No communication from management about anything, be it changes in the workplace, changes in the market, future vision of the company, etc. All information about the company and decisions being made are gathered from rumors and hearsay. Salary and benefits are sub-par. Company touts financial growth during recession as a huge accomplishment, then gives out smaller and smaller raises each year. Employee morale generally poor. HR put out a survey to some employees to investigate morale issues and what to do about it, but almost a year later, nothing has come of it. Friends and family of owner given special treatment, so everyone tries to get in good graces with owner, which means anyone will throw you under the bus to look good in front of him.

Pros

I've spent a long stretch on the Technology team here in the Hudson office, and PartsSource continues to grow, change, and evolve in a genuinely positive direction. What stands out most is leadership. They partner with and actually listen to the employee base, and they stay focused on strategic growth rather than short-term noise. The mission, "Ensuring Healthcare is Always On," isn't a poster on the wall. People here understand it and take pride in it, and that shared sense of purpose shapes the culture. Work-life balance is respected, the culture is collaborative and supportive, and there's real, continuous opportunity to learn and grow. It's been an exciting run, and I'm looking forward to what's ahead.

Cons

Growth is fast, both organic and through acquisitions, which brings occasional growing pains as the company integrates and figures things out. Part of the tradeoff for the momentum.

Pros

Somewhat relaxed culture overall. The office is fairly informal

Cons

Management has their priorities really messed up. Instead of being concerned about how to help with the ever growing workload, they dig their heels in about non consequential things. Very unclear bonus and compensation and review structure. Constantly a game of hot potato with complex issues getting passed by team to team, with nobody to help.
