Pros
1. The team I work with is great and has the experience and expertise to really execute great work. However, I feel our team, as well as other teams within the organization, is held back by company leadership. 2. Another benefit is their flexibility to work remote or be a hybrid employee is you live near an office location. 3. Decent employee benefits - I've had better in previous roles, but I've also had a lot worse.
Cons
My personal opinion is that leadership is lacking at this organization. They're uncommunicative and not very collaborative. Leadership doesn't seem to be people/employee focused. I've heard stories and witnessed good workers take the blame while others who are not meeting expectations slide by without consequences because of their personal relationships with leaders/long standing at the organization. On a culture standpoint, I can tell teams within the organization are doing their best to improve culture, but you can tell it is not a priority to leadership and they rarely participate this includes diversity and inclusion.
