      Small Company Feel With Big Owners

      Pros

      Patterson owns multiple companies which span the oil and gas service space allowing them to offer a multitude of services, and they do a good job of keeping the small company feel in each of those segments.

      Cons

      Although you can get small company feel, you're still a publicly owned company. When it comes down to hard times, they won't work with anyone to keep them around, they will just let you go. In addition, they hardly ever do cross hiring between their companies. If you want to jump from one to another it can be quite difficult.
