Pros

Paulo has the best people to work with. There is a great family feel and approach to everything. The senior leadership team maintains an open door policy so you are always welcome to talk to them. The company is very stable and the owner invests right back into the company with state of the art equipment. At Paulo you are empowered to continue to learn and grow with the organization.

Cons

Not enough accountability for the few people who take for granted the company's generosity.

Pros

The software development manager cares about the employees. She took a chance on a young, inexperienced developer and went to bat for me repeatedly: off-site training, yearly conferences, salary increases and promotions. The company respects its employees as people, and work-life balance is excellent.

Cons

Old tech, although things were changing when I left and are probably different now.
