Good salary Decent work-life balance (most of the time except in case of live site issues) Good performance is rewarded Great colleagues to work with Fast growing company (your RSUs also grow)

Cons

PayPal is not a technology thought leader Lots of legacy systems. A considerable amount of support and maintenance effort is needed You have to be available anytime in case of live site issues Projects, where new systems are built from scratch, are extremely rare

Pros

I did not find anything exciting in Risk team.

Cons

Worst Management. Typical core industry and non-technical managers,they are like , for them Orang and Mango are same because both are round. Technologies are very old. Mostly meteince works. Highly political place, you will be trapped into un-producitive daily gossips. Engineer's qualities are very poor.
