Business Outlook
Pros
Very good people across the org, who had a strong sense of urgency. PayPal brings real value to brands, and the results are there. Only downside in sales at that time was a bit of a good ole boys club whereby certain employees were set up with preferential lists and deals/money to make them work. Sure that has changed.
Cons
Company has changed in terms of culture. Not nearly as disruptive or hungry. More yes people who are rewarded for never sticking their neck out. Some people have been there for years with little to no performance to speak of. That tends to happens at a certain size. Dan seems like a good guy with the right values, which is important in any leadership scenario.
