      Pros

      A great brand and unlimited ceiling. Enormous addressable market. Very high salaries. Employees are passionate about the company and it's success.

      Cons

      An irritating internal focus that refuses to take lessons from outside itself. Not designing the company -- and the service -- for the long haul. A spend-happy organization. Many employees take joy in rooting against the parent company's success; senior leadership encourages and rewards the behavior. Horrible customer service reputation which doesn't take customers seriously enough. Lack of accountability for mistakes. MBO model rewards wrong behaviors and does little more that assert goals.

      Pros

      Money is decent, opportunities abundant, some very very good teams within the company. Given the deep recession we are in it is a decent place to work (it could be so much better though)

      Cons

      Some teams bad, use outdated techniques, infrastructure broken - right now a patchwork of bandages. unclear responsibilities and rewards. some teams frustratingly conservative. could be a lot better with better communication and recognition and clear incentives

      Pros

      The company has had and probably will continue to have solid growth. Although not an expert in the area, my impression is that the BU is very competent. I think the company has a bright future if it can solve the infrastructure issues created by rapid growth. Management team works hard to maintain high employee morale.

      Cons

      Lake many other companies it is a bit too focused on short term. Engineering Productivity is very low and needs to improve. This means a lot of weekend work to catch-up. It is much more of a relationship company than a metric company. This means it is not what you do but how you do it that matters. Being well liked will make up for failed projects.
