Pros

Paychecks never bounced. No shortage of mindless projects stemming from years and years of incompetent management.

Cons

Worst job I’ve had and it was even close. Toxic environment. No accountability for behavior that would result in immediate termination at any sensible organization. Absolutely no teamwork across departments. Very hostile. Never seen anything like this in my 20+ year career. No diversity in leadership. In a few years we will all be reading about how the integration with Paychex failed. Chaotic is a word that comes to mind. Morale is low with the paychex layoffs and inevitable consolidation of resources and systems.

Pros

Paycor is a wonderful place to meet new people, collaborate, network and grow. Very flexible.

Cons

Sometimes all hands and company meetings extend and are too long, but that's probably everywhere.

Pros

Not bad pay & commission opportunity, and some good-natured colleagues, if you can survive past a yr, which Corp trainer quoted 75% do not. Experienced reps w/ a strong coi network appear to do well. Much depends on Mkt, local leadership & team I believe.

Cons

Poorly chosen, Unethical/Incompetent local Pgh mgr w/ initials CN (Terrible). Well known Heavy "out of touch" metrics that create fake busy-work & activity expectations across Co. Meeting heavy org that wastes a lot of sales time/energy pretending things are great & they are the best in the biz. Mgr's & reps filled w/ stories about prospecting & strategies, that rarely seem to come true. Best practice is to drive miles to all prospects yr-round & bring cookies to get meetings. Low close-rate for brand across Co says a lot about brand history. Hard to find happy clients for references. Acquired by Paychex due to weak business. I've worked in large companies & worked very hard, but must say, All together this was quite a mess, and maybe just not my destiny. But I believe you're taking your chances big-time w/ them honestly. Again, much may depend on Mkt, local leadership & team, so vet them strongly before impacting your life & career.
