Pros

Have talented executives in Cincinnati. Sales reps are helpful to one another and have a strong client base for reference purposes. Good place for someone right out of college or with less than 5 years experience.

Cons

Comparing this to a family atmosphere means you come from a dysfunctional family. Too much micro-management, sales at all costs mentality, talk to reps about being strategic but really want them to be transactional. Leadership team doesn't always know what the limitations are on the solution so they tend to overpromise on the delivery and make a mad scramble to implement.

Pros

- Best technology in industry that will only improve. Most of the competition is reducing the money they are spending on IT in order to hire more sales people to hit revenue goals (especially as several go public). Paycor is only increasing the money spent of revenue. For example: we are budgeting more than 20% of revenue for R&D where as our biggest competition's financials only show 3-6% going to IT. Great for sales people because having the best product to sell only makes our job easier. - GREAT base salary compared to others in the industry - Good work-life balance. As long as you get what you need done in a week, there is not a lot of micro-management. They trust you to manage your schedule productively and in a way that works for you.

Cons

- We need more brand identity in Chicago. Large marketplace means a lot of opportunity but also a lot of competition
