Pros

In short - the people. The national sales support team (NSS for short) makes coming to work a lot easier. There's also potential to make a lot of extra money in commission and bonuses if you excel at setting appointments.

Cons

It can be a stressful job for a lot of people. Some people excel greatly while others scrape by until eventually fizzling out. Most stay in the middle of the road - hitting their quota. Even if you have the drive, it can be difficult to hit your requirements.

Pros

*Upper management has a wonderful vision *The software is one of the best in the industry *Work/life balance for the sales team *Marketing team provides excellent tools for sales *Building reputation in a unique way makes me very proud of the organization.

Cons

*Middle management is promoted from sales and lacking in qualifications *Sales approach changed 3 times in one year, feels like they make it up as they go along. *Service issues trickle to sales and there is NO help in sight. *Implementation is "Overworked" and no one discusses it, its the worst kept secret. *The territory sizes are shrinking as they are growing so aggressively. *Recruiters say 3-6 month ramp up, depending on hire date expect 9-12 month living on base only. *Micromanagement, it is not all throughout, it depends on the manager. It exists. *Surveys were sent out for feedback on management, no changes for the positive ever made.
