I love the people I work beside. They are becoming part of my family. I found out that with this job, no day is ever the same. Each day I am presented with new challenges and situations, which really helps me to stay focused and interested. I feel the work I do every day makes a difference to the people we live around and our community. I know when I go home that I truly did something meaningful and important. I cannot believe how supported we are. I can call anyone for help, and the veterans are happy to give their time to help me get better at my job. I feel that I am working with professionals that I can learn from and that they will push me to take on new and challenging opportunities. The flexibility to attend to family matters if necessary and the encouragement to come up with my own ideas and to provide input to the team is very important to me.
