Pros

None. There is no good reason to work for Paylocity when compared to the competition. Apply somewhere else if you can.

Cons

High turnover, Poor initial and ongoing training. Low wages and low-ball "merit" increases that don't keep up with inflation. Barely competitive benefit offerings,

Pros

The pros are mostly in the past. Paylocity was a company that I was proud to be working for. The pros currently are just the benefits package. That’s all for me.

Cons

The cons have started to rear their ugly faces in every day life at Paylocity. Middle management has no idea of what’s going on during the day to day business operations. In addition, the pay transparency that we pride ourselves on is such a useless tool as for most roles, they will keep you at the minimum end of the spectrum regardless of performance. I was OK with the pay as I was hired on as a full time remote employee and now they’ve placed a RTO order for 5 days a week for all operations employees within a 50 mile radius. Paylocity loves to claim to support employee wellbeing, “the future of HR,” and the such, but then they follow suit to literally all corporate policies that employees hate. The CEO drinks his own koolaid too. Don’t forget that one! Last, but not least, the work load is absolutely insane and turnover is high.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’ve enjoyed our benefits package offered here at Paylocity. We understand that changes to our in-office policy have been challenging for some employees, and we value your perspective. This decision was made thoughtfully, recognizing that in-person collaboration plays a critical role in strengthening team connections, improving client experiences, and supporting career development. We remain focused on supporting our teams throughout this transition, and encourage you to reach out to your leader should you have any questions or need additional support.
