Good Company Culture with Growing Pains

The company has a great culture, and people are so open to help and assist. This forms a significant portion of my decision to stay with the company longer despite charming opportunities.

Cons

The promotion process is not that great; you often lack a clear idea of what exactly makes you promotable or put in all the work to give management a reason for promotion. There are also growing pains as the company scales which often comes up as redundant/reverting work or frequent changing of goals.

Paylocity is a great company. Executive leadership has their priorities in the right place, there is clear communication on the strategic initiatives for the company, and they continually reinvest in the product to drive competitive advantages. There are good training resources in place and management is quick to give you the tools you need to succeed.

Cons

Paylocity is the fastest growing company in the public HRIS sector for the last 5 years running. This is amazing but it has a few drawbacks. It's challenging to beat last years growth every year but like everyone else in a capitalist system, this is the goal. Territories have gotten more compacted and the company is starting to work hard to find efficiencies (some of which aren't very popular amongst employees). That being said, I've worked elsewhere in this industry and I much prefer Paylocity in comparison
