Pros

The people, at their core, are very kind and you can tell they want to do their best work. Most of them are truly burnt out and working in a culture of fear right now, but that is mostly the company environment and not indicative of the Marketing department. That poison is everywhere.

Cons

cliquey and immature support teams: never in my entire career have I heard the words "i don't know" and "it could be" so many times.. without a single follow-up or interest in the team who is responsible actually going to find out the reasons why there are issues, errors, etc. zero follow-up: still waiting on a request for data from the Analytics team that I requested over a year ago. and that is just one of the few I haven't given up on yet. I assume I will wait forever and not one member of the team will provide any data. It's frustrating and makes it impossible for anyone to truly understand the impact of their work and where they are headed. Do better. toby is in charge: why in the world would it be ok to put a CFO bro in the place of the CEO chair? Not a coincidence that when Steve left, the company went to complete garbage. Now there are talks of striking, unionization, and just replacing jobs overseas at a lower cost. Paylocity doesn't care about their employees.

We’re glad to hear that you’ve experienced the dedication and kindness of our people firsthand. We’re proud of that, and it’s a testament to the heart our teams bring to their work every day. At the same time, we’re concerned by your comments about burnout, lack of follow-through, and cross-functional challenges. We’re committed to creating an environment where every employee can do their best work—without fear, and with the tools and support they need to make an impact. Pros

- SENSATIONAL Work Life Balance!

Cons

- CEO - Pay - C-Level - Frat Environment - Higher ups are 'do you know who I am' type - Its not able how well you do its about who you know, and how willing to are to suck up to them. - NO OPPORTUNITY TO MOVE UP, they would rather hire outside reps with no understanding of the company and the inner-workings of Paylocity. - Dont like to give opportunities to their current staff. - There is way to many things to name, but overall the low pay (lowest in the HCM industry), Leadership, and Lack of Resources for movement within company make this a one star company to me.
