Pros

Open door policies for employees to management Training provided prior to starting the role, and trainer, Trystan Potter, was highly knowledgeable / beneficial to success in the role. Turnover is high & it directly affects client trust in the company - and their distaste is immediately directed at you. Benefits: Volunteer Hours, PTO, Sick Time, Health, Dental, Vision, 401k

Cons

The picture that is painted is beautiful, but the reality is dim. Job Opportunities are plentiful, but the position is contracted for a specified amount of time - 12-18mos - before you can change positions/develop career. No alternative scheduling options. Declines ADA accommodations.

Pros

I love my coworkers they were amazing

Cons

**Glassdoor Review: My Experience in Talent Acquisition at Paylocity** I worked at Paylocity for almost three years, and my experience has been a rollercoaster of challenges and frustrations. While I consistently exceeded my goals—receiving an "over exceeding" rating on my only review—I found that the promises of promotion and recognition were consistently out of reach. Despite hitting my targets, it felt like there were always new excuses for why I wasn’t considered “good enough.” The environment shifted dramatically after the 2024 election, with a noticeable decline in the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. My team lost many diverse members, and while they recently hired one diverse person, it was disheartening to see her brought in at a lower level than she applied for, underlining the lack of genuine commitment to diversity. I faced significant micromanagement and harassment from my leader, who often undermined my opportunities to grow within the company. After expressing personal struggles, including my cousin's unaliving herself, the response was overwhelming rather than support. I had to navigate a toxic environment where it felt like my performance was constantly scrutinized, regardless of my strong survey scores and achievements. Attempts to address my concerns with HR were met with the disappointing realization that leadership had the power to change goals arbitrarily, leading to a culture where success felt unattainable. I’ve witnessed disparities in advancement opportunities, with peers receiving promotions despite not meeting their goals, while my consistent performance went unnoticed. The company culture has deteriorated significantly. Leaders lack proper training, and feedback from surveys is shared with them in ways that lead to further tension rather than constructive change. Instead of addressing complaints about leadership, I’ve seen individuals under investigation promoted, which only adds to the frustration. Despite my achievements and dedication, the environment became increasingly toxic, impacting my mental health to the point where I sought medication for anxiety. I had initially planned to build my career at Paylocity, but the lack of support and recognition for hard work, coupled with the pervasive culture of favoritism and bias, has left me deeply disappointed. In summary, while I have achieved a lot during my time at Paylocity, the systemic issues and lack of support have overshadowed my accomplishments. I hope for a time when the company can genuinely embrace diversity and create a supportive environment for all employees.
