Pros

Pearson is huge so there are a bunch of projects to get stuck into.

Cons

However, it's hard to really get the flowers you deserve for your work. Lost in the weeds. I also think that it's hard for designers of colour. Leadership is stuck in their ways and lacks diversity.

Pros

Great benefits, 401K, remote work, and great coworkers/teammates. Middle managers are amazing, and the people you directly work with are also good.

Cons

New leadership came and have been firing a lot of people who been there for years and knew the heart of the company, to either completely eliminate positions or to replace them with people from leadership's old teams elsewhere. It use to be a small company feel where people cared about you but now it's all about being big corporate and you're just a number. A lot of arguments for controls amongst higher managers and the ones on the lower roles are taking the brunt of the lack of planning and understanding about how the job and roles work.
