Gave into DEI

Pros

* Remote working situation. * If manager likes you, there is no promotion, but there is no layoff, unless it is to save themselves.

Cons

* Too many layoffs, 3 times in the past year, twice so far this year; employees who have built Higher Education, laid off with a months notice. * Teams are merged during re-org, experience bullying and obviously HR could care less. * Company succumbed to removing any mention off DEI from the books (including History books).

Pros

Pearson’s work-from-home policy is a standout, offering flexibility and work-life balance that employees truly value.

Cons

The company stagnates careers with no promotions or appraisals, leaving employees directionless amid constant reorganizations and annual layoffs. A hiring freeze strains teams, while leadership enjoys frequent promotions, creating a stark disconnect.
