Great benefits, especially compared to its industry peers Great people to work with (and often to work for), committed to their mission Despite recent events, this is still the biggest individual player in this particular industry
Cons
Career opportunities are few, and often more affected by geography than competence or achievement. Things are especially grim now, with another re-org underway. Incompetent managers are known about by staff, peers and superiors, but only rarely removed, driving top-performing staff out of the company and to the competition, who are growing with ex-Pearson talent and leadership.
