Great for new nurses

Pros

A great learning experience for new nurses to transition from nursing student to nurse. Also have the opportunity to create close relationships and work with patients to develop meaningful patient-nurse relationships.

Cons

Lack of experience opportunities, as you often work with the same patients for long periods of time.

Thank you so much for your review! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed your time with us, and understand the challenge of working with a limited number of patients for long periods of time. We do offer our ADVANCE program at PHS (https://www.pediatrichomeservice.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/advance-at-phs.pdf) to promote growth opportunities, but it sounds like we could more to promote this even further. Thanks for the feedback! Kelli Kaup Talent Manager Pediatric Home Service

Pros

I can’t think of any pros.

Cons

When I first started at PHS, I thought I would love it. I quickly realized how much money they invest in marketing to create a fake reputation for their company. They spend more money investing in marketing than their own nurses. I haven’t seen anything like it anywhere else. They are one of the lowest paying home health care companies with minimal annual increases. They lack training and support. All they care about is their own image. I’m glad I left to find a company that genuinely cares about their employees.

We are sorry to hear your experience with us was not positive. Unfortunately, it sounds like we weren't a great fit for what you were looking for in terms of compensation and training/support. These are two of our top priorities for our nurses, so it's disappointing to hear that we missed the mark. We wish you well in your future endeavors. I'd also welcome a further conversation if you would like to reach out at 651-789-0940, we get better through feedback. Kelli Kaup Talent Manager
