I have been here for a while and there are lot of reasons for it.
Pros
Peek has a great environment to learn new things, lot of highly knowledgeable co-workers and the team has liberty to try out new things. No politics here, people are very respectful of each other and transparent. The communication is easy with upper management. Meetings and discussions are calm and composed, some are passionated but for the right reasons. Great culture, lots of company events, offsites and fun Peek activities to do! People really care and are seriously interested in product success. Decisions are data driven and made with the customer in mind, great efforts are taken to focus on continuing to build the best product in the industry. The company is also growing very fast and it opens many career opportunities. Every engineer here is ambitious and driven, and isn't content sitting around here twiddling thumbs. The brand and general business idea is easy to get behind, and consequently, we're proud to work here.
Cons
Work life balance is tough as is expected working at a startup but it is getting better as the company grow. Compensation and insurance benefits less competitive than other similar size companies.
