Pros

Peek is such an invigorating place to work, I joined the company over a year ago and have absolutely loved my time here! Here are just a few of the pros: - Wicked smart team: Every single person is highly intelligent and it raises the bar for everyone else - Passion: Everyone here is looking to do something special and make Peek a household name - Humility: People are incredibly humble and approachable, regardless of their background or credentials - Ownership: Even at the junior levels people are asked to step up and own their work which provides great professional development and career growth - Fun culture: Social committee, happy hours, annual off-sites in Tahoe, team bonding events - we definitely have a lot of fun here! - Other perks: Awesome office location in Jackson Square, 4 weeks of vacation, Peek credits every month to enjoy our activities, free breakfast & dinner, there's a lot of perks

Cons

- Hours: This is not a 9-5pm job. It's a manageable workload given what I've heard about other startups my friends work at but if you join Peek be prepared to have plenty of work to do from day 1 because everyone is running fast and hard - Intensity: People here work hard and are very focused - this isn't necessarily a bad thing but it can be a bit intense when you first start which takes some getting used to

Pros

- Ample room for growth - Working amongst smart and inspiring leaders - Creativity encouraged and rewarded - Team and company culture is extremely important and the exec team is always looking for ways to encourage team bonding

Cons

- Long hours! Not necessarily a CON unless you are not looking for a job that you will be very involved with. This is no 9-5, you must manage your work/life balance on your own. - This is not a "trendy" startup. So if you're looking for a sexy company that plays ping pong all day, this is not for you. The team is humble, hardworking, and everyone contributes 200%

Pros

The people are super smart, there is so much opportunity for growth, I have been challenged every day I've been here and was given so much responsibility the second I walked through the door. People genuinely love what we're doing and are excited about where the company is going so people work really hard to achieve that goal. The company culture is awesome. We have people from all walks of life. I am friends with my coworkers and often hang out after work and on weekends. The management team listens to our feedback and directly applies it to the business. They are always transparent and make you feel like the company is your baby too. Company events are fun and they facilitate a lot of interteam communication.

Cons

People here are super hard working so the hours are definitely long (typical start-up mentality). Peek is more than a job... it's a lifestyle choice. If you want to have a relaxed, easy job this isn't for you. The type of person who thrives here is a go-getter, is ambitious, is creative, and always looking to initiate new projects.
