      Pros

      I have not been employed long enough to discuss the overall company, but I can speak to the interviewing process. The process was great. Peek did not use brain-teasers, or other tricky tasks. Rather, it was focused on the practical aspects of the job. This included a take-home programming assignment, a discussion lead deep-dive into technicals of your solution, and a discussion lead deep dive into software engineering in general.

      None to speak of at my early stage of employment.

      Pros

      The technical leadership here embraces new technology - we aren't stuck on old technology w/ a refusal to do anything about it. As you grow, technically, you are given the freedom to make your own decisions (i.e mistakes) and it's a culture of learning from them. We have a product that is truly trying to make the world a better place; the founding team is inspirational w/ their drive to connect the world and encourage individuals to do more things versus accumulate more stuff. They even give you credits every month to go do activities.

      Cons

      The (small) team size means you own a lot, especially as you grow; those who want to hide in the cracks of a large team will feel out of place.
