Pros

Great benefits including summer fridays and generous vacation. Nice colleagues, highly professional and smart.

Cons

Complex organizational structure - still has not worked out some of the kinks from the Penguin and Random House merger. Most people have been there a long time - which speaks to the positive aspects of the place but also makes it difficult to ascend the organization.
