Pros

Being 100% virtual it can be hard to feel connected with a team, but Zoom meetings with the team once a week really help with connecting and seeing faces. Everyone is super nice and make you feel welcome.

Cons

The use of Zoom for screen sharing can be a bit annoying as it only gives you 40 minutes on the free version. Microsoft Teams would be a better way to screen share and also has a better chat function.

Pros

Flexible remote working environment, when most companies are forcing employees back to the office, Penn Mutual listened to employees and stayed remote post pandemic. A lot of opportunity to grow personally and professionally. Effective leadership and a growth mindset. Great benefits, especially for younger families!

Cons

Significant rate of change - the change in the company is fast and can be overwhelming, but, you get a lot of support from senior leadership and the relationship based culture.
