      Pros

      The people in the company are great to work with! It was a great experience meeting tons of knowledgable co-workers. The company provides tons of events for their home office employees that make working there even better.

      Cons

      The growth opportunities are limited within the company. Once you are in the company you can move around into different departments, but if you want to move up in your own it is not done for many years put in.

      Pros

      Penn Mutual is a great place to work. The employees here are very supportive and collaborative. You never feel like you are on an island unto yourself because there are so many resources and co-workers with a great deal of experience. My first year here was wonderful and the job enrichment aspect is what I like the most.

      Cons

      Due to the growth and addition of 4 Field Offices in the past year, the workload has been challenging but also very rewarding. To think that we are growing when other life insurance companies are downsizing makes it that much more special to be a part of Penn Mutual.
