      Great Peers/Terrible Management IT department

      Pros

      You can develop great relationships with the people at this company. Make a difference feeling working here. Peers/Peers/Peers can be great! Vacation and bonus opportunity are good.

      Cons

      IT managers are cronies put in place by Head of IT. Everyone is expendable attitude. People with long careers are forced to put up with bad management or move on. Work/Life balance is also an issue with many night/weekends and no official policy on comp time. Salary is below industry average for people starting at the bottom and working up.

      Pros

      Life/work balance, easy to impress if you are smart, great 401k match, great if you do not want to work in city, great for last career before retiring ( not for ambitious)

      Cons

      Exec team is weak, mgmt could care less about little guy, CEO cares about her career/not yours, so many workers do bare minimum and its never caught/worried about, communication down is nonexistent.
