good pay and better benefits, direct dposit with 24/7 computer access to payroll and benefits as well as employee discounts. well organized, worker safety policys followed, machines well maintained, and very nice tooling. Most gages and measuring instruments provided, full service tool crib. Steel Workers union. Very particular on hiring and do a good job of briniging in quality workers.

Cons

no AC in shop, so it gets hot in summer. Management changes gears often and sometimes that hurts production, but overall a good place to work.

High quality of contributors. They offered a nice work/life balance and invested training of individuals for growth. They offered "best of breed" solutions that allows one to sell and promote on quality.

Cons

Difficult market at the moment. Many layoffs have made the work environment trying a times.

climate controlled day time job great for going to school for better employment elswhere. relaxed atmosphere, best dead end job i have ever had.

Cons

mangement comunication needs complete overhaul room for advancement ...not there. micromanagement bordering on obbsesive. corporate braggs of making 38 million last year at conroe location but yet we the machine only warrent a two percent raise.!!!
