Challenging

Pros

Opportunity to serve a US military customer in the field, or closely support those who do. What you do here matters. In this small evolving company, inexperienced employees are given responsibilities they would not normally have in a large corporation.

Cons

Inexperienced management team that has done a poor job honestly assessing the organization's strengths and weaknesses. Often this inexperience manifests itself as micromanagement and public reprimands, an apparent attempt to validate their position of authority. Many employees find it difficult to work in this environment. A corporate strategy that's all over the map and completely disconnected from the organization's core competencies. Rather than address issues rationally, senior management will use the threats of lawsuits and other punitive actions to manage their B2B and employee challenges.

The management team at PTP has decades of experience in private and public sector positions of responsibility. Knowledge management is a field of endeavor with multiple lanes and in many domains. Our testimonials from satisfied customers both in the US as well as those we support in an active theater of war demonstrate plainly that the senior management team understands what needs to be done and allocates resources to accomplish goals while exceeding expectations. Additionally, PTP has employees that have been with the firm since its inception, and many have returned when the opportunity to do so arose.

Pros

If you look good in an orange jumpsuit, you'll be a great addition to the management team

Cons

-Lack of ethics -Terrible management -Appears to hate their employees -Fraudulent activity -Will do anything to squeeze a penny out of their employees or the government Look at the pattern of reviews. Angry former employees leave honest impressions and then magically a couple of reviews written in the same style and voice show up that make PTP appear to walk on water. Nah, that's not fishy at all. Notice how one review says that you should ignore anonymous reviews but its by an anonymous reviewer? The president, Vic, is a crook and the laughingstock of knowledge managemetn at the DoD. I don't have enough room to give an honest assessment of him and his crappy company. He will do anything to make money. All he cares about is making money for himself and the family members he employs. If you work for them you will quit if you have a shred of ethics and they will steal your last paycheck. Guaranteed. If you want to hire them ask for a letter of recommendation from any of their last couple of prime contractors. Don't ask Vic or Tony though, they'll just make something up. Call the companies directly and see if they would recommend PTP. I guarantee they won't. I am not sure why I'm even writing ths, the whole company will fall apart and the management will be in jail by this time next year.

This review is a litany of personal grievances and baseless personal attacks. As a contractor supporting the Department of Defense, PTP operates in the US and overseas under the constant scrutiny of federal auditors. All of the company's business practices have been found to be well within governing legal parameters and regulations following normal due-course reviews.

Pros

Since PTP is such a small company as an employee you are able to learn more about your chosen field of work than what a bigger company has to offer you. PTP respects hard working employees and its shown in the benefits offered to the employees.

Cons

PTP is still learning in all aspects of the company. They have a lot of room to grow as long as they don't continue to pacify the wrong employees. They also have big ambitions instead of focusing on what they have. If you keep to yourself and get your work done correctly, then you really have nothing to worry about.
