Inconsistent hours, leading to less pay

-Considered a year in service after your three months to join the union, so 15 months total. -Management is always the reason to quit a job. They suddenly to decide to change x rule, or start enforcing rule y because they feel like it, and workers have no way to fight back. They take away your freedoms without a care. -Voice headset will drive you mad, as well as some of the other annoyances from day-to-day operations. A coworker quit because of the mixture of the annoying headset (that will constantly mishear you and screw you over) or the machines jerking and making you drop your pallets. -Most of the people are nice-to-lukewarm. Some of them will treat you as an obstacle to them doing their job, and then do the same thing they dont like you for. -Building is poorly ventilated, and the one bay they open up only helps in that small area. -During the summer, they give out free drinks, just don't take the pop. Youll end up walking out from Pepsi and straight into the hospital with diabetes. -Horrible turnover rate. Most classes will only have one survivor that didn't walk off for whatever reason, or being fired for whatever reason. -You are at the whim of the daily loads, so you can be there 5 hrs on a really easy night and everyone is going a good speed above 150 cases an hour, or more likely, youll be there from 8-14hrs consistently. It's also nightshift from 6pm till whenever, so say goodbye to normal sleep and family and friends.
