Pros

This used to be an amazing place to call home. The culture was infectious, the people were respectful, and opportunities for career advancement were endless. Now? Ask anyone with any shred of sanity, if Peraton is a good place to work. Let me be crystal clear, it’s not. It’s a sinking ship. It’s worse than the Titanic. I feel sorry for all my amazing colleagues still stuck there trying to exit, I hope you find a life boat soon.

Cons

Leadership STRONGLY supports the Trump administration and push a MAGA-centric agenda. So much so that they’ve purchased “Make Aviation Great Again” hats, to mimic the red “Make America Great Again” Trump campaign hats. They hired a CGO from another large GovCon company that had no clearance, and therefore could not support any intelligence bids or existing contracts. That person was not above being as unethical has humanly possible, telling those of us in briefing rooms “we want to stab our competitors in the back” and “do anything we need to do to win”... in the context of cheating, lying, and doing whatever it takes, unethical or not to succeed. He also used racial slurs in regular conversation. That CGO went back to work at the large GovCon company he came from, about 5 months after he started. With no formal “cooling off period” in between, taking any proprietary / institutional knowledge with him. Peraton also rehired a CMO that was let go from Peraton back in 2021. They haven’t announced this CMO, even though she started in November 2025, because of the legal matter she is involved in with their former employer, another large GovCon company. The long-time, CHRO quit last week. And that just scratches the surface of the mess of issues the leadership team has. There arent enough lines of copy in this description box to tell you all the horrible things about the current CEO. Career opportunities? Take it from somebody that was there over a decade, there are none. Voluntary attrition rates are through the roof. Bottom line, if you’re someone looking for a new job, with a new company… don’t pick this one. It is the biggest dumpster fire, ever witnessed. One final note, I left on my own accord. I am not some disgruntled employee that was let go or fired. I am somebody that really truly cared about this company for many years of my life, and I am sad to see what it’s turned into.

Pros

Can’t think of anything positive about this failing company

Cons

Company lays employees off monthly with no warning in joint layoffs with 10-15 employees on the call. Company is drowning in debt due to underperforming on contracts and overall unsatisfactory performance.
