Pros

Working from home, interesting role, flexibility

Cons

Poor management. Copious amounts of stress for minimal pay. Do not take this job if you value your mental health and want to be happy. They are a slimy company who pretends to care about their employees, but do very little to show it.

Pros

Peraton provides a genuinely supportive and forward-thinking work environment, augmented by an excellent benefits package. What truly sets the company apart is the consistent focus on its core values—you see them actively applied, not just stated. The benefits are comprehensive and a real differentiator. They include specialized, low-cost health resources like telehealth physical therapy and diabetes management, which covers diet and monitoring equipment. Additionally, the coverage offers extremely low-cost options for certain surgical procedures when performed at regional surgical centers, making high-quality care highly accessible. Beyond benefits, the emphasis on Team and Respect creates a highly collaborative atmosphere. My colleagues and managers are consistently willing to support each other, and this collective approach is fundamental to our project success. Furthermore, there is a deep sense of Trust inherent in the culture, allowing employees the autonomy to manage their work and deliver results. This trust fosters a high level of ownership and accountability. A major strength is the company's commitment to Excellence and Innovation. Leadership consistently encourages us to think creatively and embrace new technologies to solve complex challenges for our customers. The work itself is meaningful and aligns with a strong sense of Honor, knowing that our contributions directly support vital national security and government missions.

Cons

While the company culture is strong, salary increases implemented last year felt minimal across the board, which could be an area for improvement in recognizing employee contributions.

Pros

Any potential Pros that come from working for Peraton depend on the program you fall under. Good luck.

Cons

Peraton has decided to withhold severance to eligible employees of a recently failed contract. The entire debacle has been handled so incredibly poorly that I will actively avoid working for this company for the rest of my career. After decades in this industry I haven't seen anything like this. The program was the worst managed organization I have ever been a part of, But now after seeing how Peraton corporate operates, it makes perfect sense. A total abortion. No wonder the customer dropped us. Also, this program had an alarming lack of diversity among senior management.
