Pros

Healthy Work Environment (anecdotal): I had a talented and supportive team with good WLB. Strong engineering, interesting, challenging, and impactful projects to work on. Plenty of opportunities to grow skills. Decent Benefits: Competitive PTO/Holidays. Remote capable, schedule flexibility, decent healthcare package.

Cons

Growing pains and uncertainties from acquisitions, ex. legacy employee benefit cuts, management re-org, talent leaving, etc. Limited upward and lateral mobility, resulting in a lack of internal career growth. Very average pay

Pros

The larger parent company doesn't seem to have too much influence on on the smaller research arm of Peraton. Opportunities for remote work.

Cons

At times can feel isolated during remote projects. No Parental Leave.
