Pros

Great family run company that cares about employees and the product quality. Everyone works hard, but stress is minimized. Lots of pride in the products and product quality. Jim Perdue is as real and friendly as his commercials.

Cons

Since most products are fresh, Perdue is really locked into the East Coast market. Hard to expand west. They've pretty much done almost everything that can be done with chicken and turkey. Not sure where growth can come from.

Pros

Good pay, great people to work with, good reputation

Cons

Constantly reorganizing based on the flavor of the month by executives. Once you exceed the midpoint for salary earnings, attend each workday as if it is your last - for it could very well be the last of employment.
