Strong team and pay, but struggles with alignment and growth

Pros

Competitive salary compared to the market. Great team with talented and supportive colleagues (highly subjective). High-quality equipment and development tools.

Cons

Acquisition-driven business – the company has grown through acquisitions, making it difficult to align processes, technologies, and engineering practices across products. Company-wide initiatives are often poorly executed, with limited coordination and inconsistent adoption. Strong AI mandate – recent guidelines heavily encourage using AI for nearly every development task, to the point where writing code manually can feel discouraged. Minimal salary growth with promotions – taking on a new role often comes with a relatively small compensation increase. Salary compression – newly hired employees frequently earn more than existing employees in comparable roles, making long-term retention less rewarding.

Acquiring companies can always present challenges and can lead to different technologies and practices being used. Our goal in integrating these acquired businesses is to minimize disruption. Some times that means we continue to use programming languages and practices that are different. I'm sorry to hear you're not enjoying your experience, especially given this is our Pune location that just won a Great Place to Work Award that was voted on by our employees of this location. The office is a fun and inviting space, where we feed our employees, provide state of the art equipment and are training our engineers on AI. We hold monthly all hands meetings that are recorded for the entire company, townhall meetings for both product lines and locations. I hope you're able to attend those as we are committed to be transparent about what's going on in the business and we answer all questions from our employees.
