      Pros

      Management open door policy a big pro. Engineering management is professional. Compensation for location is a loaded kitchen, lots of happy hours/toasts, good balance with home as there is no real sense of urgency anywhere.

      Cons

      The location is quite bad. Technology is not top notch. People are not top notch, seems like it is difficult to recruit the top due to the location and business of the company not being of leading technology. Sales people tend to escape after a few months, which is worrying.

      Pros

      Perforce really values its employees. The office environment is filled with laughter, passionate workers, and a lot of collaboration. The company was very healthy, and salary and rewards reflect that.

      Cons

      The team is growing fast and making a lot of acquisitions. This makes for a rapid learning curve for new software assets, messaging, and how they play in the same ecosystem.
