Pros
Working at Perforce has been a great experience for me; they've managed to recruit highly intelligent people who have a passion for industry-leading product development solutions. The environment is open, fast-paced, and includes great perks like organized office events, free snacks, games, happy hours, and a designated “Fun Committee” to ensure a work-life balance is maintained. Great benefits, time-off, paid holidays, subsidized gym and parking fees, and even a paid day off for community charity work add to the allure of working here. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement as Perforce is a growing company with a bright future and the Executive team has been easily approachable, willing to listen to every opinion regardless of your position. Perforce has been one of the best companies I’ve worked for during my career and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.
Cons
Some employees—who have been with the company since the beginning—have had a hard time with the sale of the company and the associated changes/transition. I get it. Change is hard. But from my personal experience, the employees I’ve interacted with have been nothing short of amazing - polite, helpful, and friendly.
